Jumbly Bumbly

Separate trips to California, Idaho, Vegas, and to Portland all in the last two weeks. I'm exhausted. I got back from Portland last night and am greeted with scholarship deadlines, transcripts to send, grad applications to fill out, a paper to submit, and 2 tests to take tomorrow. Basically I'm running around in a jumbled mess unable to catch my breath, but guess what? I'm not even stressed. This cloud has a silver lining. As my friend Ben so perfectly put it...

I'm not pre-med anymore. I am a medical student.

side note- The day after I announced my acceptance to Ben he sent me a text restating this sentiment...

Ben: Guess What?
Me: What?
Ben: Ur not pre-med anymore mother effer!!!

**It made me laugh, and remember why I love Ben. So, I thought I'd share**
Needless to say, it feels good.

Anyway, Portland was great. I stayed with my uncle and he showed me around. We visited...

Multnomah Falls,

And ate a a delicious and very eco friendly Portland Restaurant.
We walked around OHSU Campus.
Where we
Rode the sky tram,

and walked across the sky bridge,

and finished the night off with dinner out...

As far as my interview, it went well. OHSU has a beautiful campus and awesome facilities with a mix of old and modern architecture. The area is great, awesome food, and a lot of culture, but I'm not sure if Portland or OHSU is for me. It was fun to visit a new city and a new campus, but it's definitely good to be home. I'm excited to be back. This has been a jumbly bumbly but amazing week. Now that I'm back, I'm ready to get some stuff done, get a little rest, and finally... celebrate!
