The sun has finally come out and summer is officially in full swing. As I'm sitting here I realized that in only 1 1/2 months I'll be starting medical school. Seriously, where did the time go? You might be wondering how I'm feeling about said step into adulthood...
Am I:
Nervous? A little.
Nervous? A little.
Excited? Yes.
Ready to move into my own apartment? You bet!
It's not that I don't like being home, I really do. I'm loving the chance to spend time with my family. I'm just ready to have my own space again, sick of looking at the giant stack of boxes in the corner that contain the majority of my earthly possessions, and missing having my own groceries, toiletries, etc. I move in July 9th and even though I'll still be spending the majority of my time in Idaho for work, at least I'll have a place to call my own. I can't wait!Anyway, seeing as it's a new month and all, I really started this post to address a couple of my plans/new goals for July. So, without further ado...
1) 30 Day Shred- I've recently become mildly obsessed with Jilian Michaels. She's in awesome shape and she could scare the pants off of any drill sergeant. What's not to love? In keeping with my hottie with a naughty body aspirations I bought her '30 Day Shred' exercise DVD.

*I'll let you know how it goes.*

2) Fun Please- In the last 3 weeks since I've been working at the races and Macy's I've been pulling 50+ hour work weeks. To some of you, that's fine, but for me... no bueno. I think I deserve a little fun before I push my brain into overdrive. Therefore, I think I'll call it quits a little early and take some me time.
*Of course I'll wait till after the housewares sale... I need a few things*
3) Big Sis- Since both of my little brothers have recently moved to SLC, I'll prob be seeing a lot more of them in the future, but while I'm here in Idaho I decided I need to spend more time with Summer Kaye. She's 12 now and getting so big, I don't want to look back and realize I missed these moments, so from now on, Sunday nights are for sweet lil Summer.

*FYI, I expect myself and all of you to be a darker shade of brown by my next post. Don't disappoint!*
And... That's basically it. I'm still going to keep working on my June goals and do my best to make the most out of what's left of summer 2010. Oh yes, it's going to be good! I'll see y'all later and until then, love you and get out and enjoy this weather while it's hot!
