New York has officially become a Looney Bin!
If you thought the Casey Anthony verdict was bad, this is 10 times worse. Barbara Sheehan claimed she was abused by her husband for nearly 20 years. She had that much time to grab the kids and leave, but she didn’t.
Then one day while he’s doing the threatening act of shaving his face, she decides to shoot him down, using two different guns and 11 bullets.
New York Post
The Queens woman accused of killing her allegedly abusive husband was found not guilty today of murder after a jury believed her claim that she acted in self-defense for shooting him 11 times using two guns.
“There is no joy today,” said defense lawyer Michael Dowd, who stood outside the courthouse with Sheehan. “The only thing that can bring joy to this family would be to bring them back 17 years before the first blow was struck."
The verdict came a day after deadlocked jurors asked for a readback of dramatic testimony detailing her version of events of the Feb. 18, 2008, incident.
Sheehan maintained that she shot her 49-year-old ex-cop husband, Raymond, with a .38-caliber revolver after he pointed a 9mm Glock at her and threatened to kill her as she tried to flee their Howard Beach home.
Sheehan, 50, who'd taken the stand in her own defense during the trial, added that she then picked up the 9mm-Glock and finished him off as the retired cop reached for the gun and continued to make threats.
Raymond's twin brother Vincent Sheehan called it a "bad" verdict.
"I think the truth is what makes you rest in peace, not what 12 citizens say about it," he said. "I think the verdict was bad, but this is the system and you have to live with it. The facts and the true evidence did not reflect the verdict. People make decisions on emotions."
The jury also found Sheehan not guilty of criminal possession of a weapon for using the revolver.

Amanda Know finally set free by Italian appeals court and headin’ home
Amanda’s nightmare is over and she’s on her way home to the United States after being wrongly convicted for murder in Italy.
I’m very happy the Italian system righted an injustice that took almost 4 years of her life serving a punishment for a crime she didn’t commit.
The Huffington Post
An Italian court has overturned the conviction of 24-year-old American Amanda Knox. Knox was found not guilty of killing her British roommate, 21-year-old Meredith Kercher, in 2007, and will be freed from jail.
Knox collapsed in tears after the verdict overturning her 2009 conviction was read out.
Earlier Monday, Knox tearfully told the court she did not kill her roommate. Knox frequently paused for breath and fought back tears as she spoke in Italian to the eight members of the jury in a packed courtroom, but managed to maintain her composure during the 10-minute address.
After the morning court session, Knox relaxed in the prison chapel, playing guitar and singing as she awaited the verdict, according to an Italian lawmaker who visited her in prison Monday.
Knox's co-defendant, Raffaele Sollecito, also was cleared of the murder after a court-ordered review of the DNA evidence cast serious doubts over the main DNA evidence linking the two to the crime.

Liberal Democrats are locking poor minority parents for the crime of sending their kids to better schools

See the Black woman in the photo?
Liberals are charging her with educational theft for the crime of wanting a better education for her kids.
I have made the argument for years that the Democrat Party who control virtual every inner city public school system in the country BY DESIGN don’t mind if Black and Latino kids are hopelessly locked into failing schools.
This serves two purposes:
1. To under educate minority children so they can be more susceptible to Democrat propaganda
2. Keep failing schools open even if their terrible to coniine collecting union dues from teachers to be funneled back to the Democrat Party in campaign contribution. That’s why the hate vouchers and Charter schools because it’s a threat to the money flow.
And when poor parents try to give their kids a better education this same Democrat controlled system is criminalizing them and throwing in jail with real crooks.
Wall Street Journal
In case you needed further proof of the American education system's failings, especially in poor and minority communities, consider the latest crime to spread across the country: educational theft. That's the charge that has landed several parents, such as Ohio's Kelley Williams-Bolar, in jail this year.
An African-American mother of two, Ms. Williams-Bolar last year used her father's address to enroll her two daughters in a better public school outside of their neighborhood. After spending nine days behind bars charged with grand theft, the single mother was convicted of two felony counts. Not only did this stain her spotless record, but it threatened her ability to earn the teacher's license she had been working on.
Ms. Williams-Bolar caught a break last month when Ohio Republican Gov. John Kasich granted her clemency, reducing her charges to misdemeanors from felonies. His decision allows her to pursue her teacher's license, and it may provide hope to parents beyond the Buckeye State.
In the last year, parents in Connecticut, Kentucky and Missouri have all been arrested—and await sentencing—for enrolling their children in better public schools outside of their districts.
These arrests represent two major forms of exasperation. First is that of parents whose children are zoned into failing public schools—they can't afford private schooling, they can't access school vouchers, and they haven't won or haven't even been able to enter a lottery for a better charter school. Then there's the exasperation of school officials finding it more and more difficult to deal with these boundary-hopping parents.
From California to Massachusetts, districts are hiring special investigators to follow children from school to their homes to determine their true residences and decide if they "belong" at high-achieving public schools.

What more proof does the minority community need to realize the Democrat Party only cares about their votes and nothing else?

Mass Gov Deval Patrick illegal aliens best friend ducks questions about his soft on illegals policy that kills people

Barack Obama’s buddy and fellow speech plagiarist, Mass Gov Deval Patrick believes illegal aliens are welcomed in Massachusetts under any circumstance—even if they kill people.
He’s another example of how Liberalism kills more than it protects.
Boston Herald
My guess is that Hurricane Irene is going to kill a lot fewer Americans in Massachusetts this year than illegal aliens are. But don’t tell that to Gov. Deval Patrick — he doesn’t want to talk about dead Americans and the drunk Ecuadorians who killed them.
On Friday afternoon, on live statewide TV, the governor went on and on at the MEMA bunker in Framingham about emergency preparations and mobilizing the National Guard, etc. But just as he was wrapping up, Jon Keller of Channel 4 decided to get in a question about Matthew Denice, the 23-year-old Milford motorcyclist run down and killed by an allegedly drunken illegal from Ecuador a week ago last night.
Deval had spent the week hiding behind a written statement from his flack about this latest illegal-alien atrocity. So Keller figured he’d get something on videotape from the undocumented workers’ best friend in Massachusetts.
“Well,” Deval began, “first of all it’s a terrible, terrible tragedy for that family and my heart goes out to them and my prayers to them and the community who are outraged.”
Notice, he didn’t name the family, or the community, even though he attended a hearing in Milford on Secure Communities, the program to round up criminals like the accused Ecuadorian. Naturally, Deval vehemently opposes Secure Communities, and next he explained why.
“You know, illegal immigration didn’t kill this person. A drunk driver killed this person.”
Suppose an American had so brutally killed an illegal alien, dragging him down the street as he screamed, and then delivered the coup de grace by backing over him.
You can bet Deval would not only have known the illegal’s name, but would have visited his family, cameras (and interpreters) in tow. But with only an American taxpayer dead, the governor wanted to keep the subject on drunken driving.
“And, uh, we have laws about that.”
Yeah, and despite what Marsha Coakley says, we also have laws about being in this country illegally. Not to mention laws against driving without a license, and assaulting police and firefighters, all of which this illegal alien is accused of violating with impunity

Caught on Video: Hero California cop shot in neck by perp trying to set house ablaze El Cajon California

Kudos to this police officer doing his job to protect the public and property. These guys don’t get the credit they deserve and only get blamed by some with a political agenda.
Daily Mail
A dramatic video shows the moment when a police officer ran to safety and collapsed after being shot in the neck by a suspect.
Two cops were responding to a call from neighbours claiming a man was brandishing a gun outside a house in El Cajon, California, on Sunday.
The suspect fired several shots when the officers arrived and one of them was hit in the head before he was pulled to safety by the other.
The suspect, who was then thought to have set the house on fire, was believed to have been found dead inside the home on Monday morning.
The officer, who has not been named, is in a critical but stable condition after undergoing surgery in hospital, reported the Los Angeles times.

Two AutoZone employees jeered by Bronx residents for catching criminals
As New Yorker I feel totally disgusted and ashamed of Bronx citizens that had the audacity to side with a couple of low crooks that were chased and stopped by two AutoZone workers for shoplifting merchandize.Who are these people that would brazenly side with prerps instead of two guys trying to do the right thing? These jeering people must have been criminally minded menaces themselves that serve no purpose other than to suck off the tit of those in society who are productive.
It’s a very disturbing thing indeed that reflects poorly on the Bronx and the city of New York.
New York Post
Bronx auto-store clerk Nelson Lozanda made the call of duty yesterday, chasing and tackling a suspected shoplifter, then holding him down with one hand while phoning cops with the other. "There are a lot of thieves coming in here. They are thinking just because it's not our store, we are not going to respond to it," said Lozada, 23, one of two workers who grabbed the alleged perp about a block from an AutoZone store on East 149th Street.

The drama started in the store at about noon when a man set off alarms because he had allegedly stashed an electric drill and an Allen wrench set, worth a total of about $80, in his bag.
"As we were trying to stop him, he ran into the lot," said Lozada, noting that the store is hit by up to four shoplifting attempts a day.
The man then pulled out a filthy syringe, he said.
"He said, 'I'll give you AIDS with this syringe!' Then he ran," Lozada said.
But Lozada, who was hired six months ago, and assistant manager Oscar Castelan, 19, chased him.
The pair tackled the man about a block away. Lozada held the suspect in a chokehold with his right arm and dialed 911 with his left hand.
But the alleged thief still had some fight in him. He wriggled free, swung at Castelan and put the assistant manager in a full nelson.
Meanwhile, a crowd gathered -- with some onlookers threatening the AutoZone staffers for daring to stop the suspected thief.
Lozada said he and his co-worker tried to ignore the onlookers' contemptuous cries of "It's not your store! Why do you care?"
"We're trying to do the right thing, and they're sticking up for the bad guy. It's disappointing," Lozada said.
As the crowd grew more hostile, Lozada and Castelan grew weary -- and the perp fled, leaving behind the stolen goods.
"We basically just grabbed the stuff and went back to the store," Lozada said.
Cops arrived about 10 minutes too late. They said they were searching for the suspect.
But shortly after the mayhem, The Post found the suspect shuffling along East 138th Street.
"They didn't have any right to do that to me," the man said, pointing to a black left eye and bloody scab on the back of his head. "I'm homeless. I'm not going to steal from other homeless people.
"Better to steal from the store."

54 mistakes that could free Amanda Knox from Italian prison

Let’s face it; Knox was railroaded because of Anti-American sentiment in Europe. These latest revelations don’t say much for the Italian justice system.
The Sun
AMANDA Knox moved a step closer to freedom yesterday - after a court heard how bungling cops investigating the case made 54 mistakes.
Knox, serving 26 years for the brutal slaying of British student Meredith Kercher, laughed along with others in court as the catalogue of blunders was read out.
DNA evidence found on a kitchen knife and a bra clasp were key to convicting Knox and her former boyfriend Raffaele Sollecito, 26, of Meredith's murder.
But two independent professors gave the appeal hearing in Perugia, Italy, a damning 144-page report on the forensic teams.
There were gasps of disbelief as the court was shown video footage of two cops picking up the clasp, passing it from hand to hand, dropping it, picking it up again and placing it on the floor.
One cop wore grubby gloves and officers put the clasp into a paper bag rather than a plastic one, which the experts said added a "significant" contamination risk. The clasp had been kept in such poor condition it had gone rusty, making further testing impossible.

Huge high class Brooklyn prostitution hookers ring busted

I wanna see the client list of prominent Democrats?
This may end up being very interesting. Maybe DSK's accusor is an enployee?
New York Post
These girls were anything but a cheap date.
A "high-end" Brooklyn escort services that raked in $7 million over three years by dealing sex and drugs to clients who forked over as much as $10,000 per night has been broken up, authorities revealed today in announcing the arrests of 17 people.
One client of the Sheepshead Bay-based escort service, High Class NY, dropped a stunning $170,000 for its steamy services over just a year, revealed Brooklyn District Attorney Charles Hynes.
Asked what that guy got for his 170K, Hynes quipped, "God knows."
"I'm a married man. I don't want to think about it," Hynes added.
Named in the 144-count indictment were High Class NY's owners Mikhail Yampolsky, his wife, Bronislava, his son, Alexander; and his step-son, Jonathan Yampolskaya. Also charged were eleven of their managers and supervisors, as well as two of their largest investors, Efim Gorelik and Yakov Maystrovich.

Charges include enterprise corruption, promoting prostitution, money laundering, and criminal sale of a controlled substance. Two escorts were separately charged with prostitution, criminal sale of a controlled substance and attempted criminal sale of a controlled substance.
No john was being charged at this time, although Hynes ominously said, "We're considering that."
"I've been informed that customers are all high-end customers, coming from the financial markets many of them, hedge fund people, people with nothing but money, willing to pay these enormous amounts of money for God knows what," Hynes said.
Rates for the hookers, who provided out-call services, ranged from $400 to $3,600 per hour.
The women hired by the service typically ranged in age from 20 to 30 years old, with 30 being considered old, prosecutors said.

Brooklyn mom says Levi Aron previously tried to kidnap her boy

This creep was really a piece of work. It looks like he was the neighborhood weirdo that was going to snap sooner or later.
New York Post
A woman who lives three doors down from "the Butcher of Brooklyn" said yesterday that the madman had tried to kidnap her young son right off their block, but that she scared him away with her screams.
"The story is true. We're going through a lot of trauma here," Zisa Berkowitz told The Post from her East Second Street home, steps from where Levi Aron admittedly suffocated 8-year-old Leiby Kletzky with a bath towel in Aron's Kensington attic apartment.
NYPD detectives spoke to the mom on Wednesday, just hours after Aron was arrested for Kletzky's murder and dismemberment.

Catherine Kieu Becker Accused Of Cutting Off Her Estranged Husband's Penis

I’m sure most women knee-jerk reaction is that the guy deserved it. But that’s a load of crap!
If a husband cut off his wife’s breasts, how would women like that? This woman should have just left and get away from the dude. Cutting off dicks is not the answer.
The Huffington Post
A wife is accused of cutting off the penis of her estranged husband. She was arrested late last night after investigators responded to a 911 call and is now in custody at the Orange County Jail.
Catherine Kieu Becker of Garden Grove reportedly prepared dinner for her husband and put a poisonous substance or drug in his food to make him drowsy, reports KTLA. While the man was sleeping, Becker allegedly tied him to the bed. When he awakened, Becker cut his penis off with a knife and threw it into the garbage disposal, turning it on as she did so.
Lt. Jeff. Nightengale told NBC LA that Becker called 911 at around 10 p.m. requesting emergency assistance. Nightengale said that Becker "told responding officers that he 'deserved it.'" Nightengale also revealed that the married couple was going through a divorce.
Nightengale spoke with the HuffPost and confirms that the victim has been upgraded to stable or good condition and is being treated at UC Irvine Medical Center in Orange. Nightengale also says that pieces of the severed member were recovered from the crime scene and transported to the hospital with the victim last night, but he has no details on how the surgery went. Police hope to interview the victim either today or tomorrow.
Becker has been charged with "aggravated mayhem, false imprisonment, assault with a deadly weapon, administering a drug with intent to commit a felony, poisoning and spousal abuse," according to the Associated Press. The most serious of these charges is "aggravated mayhem," which carries a life sentence with possibility of parole (as opposed to just "mayhem," which has a sentence of 3-5 years).

UK woman Gina Robins microwaves neighbor’s kitten in retaliation for being thrown out of a party

I think this woman may face a harsher sentence than Casey Anthony.
Daily Mail
A woman has been accused of microwaving her neighbour's kitten after she was allegedly thrown out of a party.
Gina Robins, 30, faces one charge of causing unnecessary suffering to the pet by putting it in the appliance at a house in Torquay, Devon, on February 16.
It is claimed the short-haired kitten, which was only a few months old, suffered devastating injuries and died.
Robins, wearing a black dress and a white coat, pleaded not guilty when she appeared before magistrates and only spoke to confirm her name and address.
The case is being brought forward by the RSPCA after its owner made a formal complaint. Robins, of Torquay, was granted bail and is due back before magistrates on August 12 for a pre-trial review.

Media wrong again: Casey Anthony found not guilty of murdering 2 yr old daughter

For the past 3 years, the tabloids and the 24 hour cable stations put Casey Anthony on trial and convicted her in the court of public opinion. The so-called court watchers for the networks proclaimed on a daily basis that the Florida prosecutors were doing an excellent job, while also dubbing Casey’s defense lawyers as dim wits.
Well, the media is left with egg on their faces because a Florida jury found Anthony not guilty of the most serious charges. The prosecutors failed to do their job-prove beyond a reasonable doubt that Anthony did the crime.
Let’s remember how often the so-called experts are wrong!
Fox News
A Florida jury has cleared Casey Anthony of murdering her 2-year-old daughter, Caylee, bringing to a close a case that has captivated the American public for more than three years.
Anthony, 25, wept after the clerk read the verdict, which jurors reached after less than 11 hours of deliberation over two days.
She was charged with first-degree murder, which could have brought the death penalty if she had been convicted, but the jury, after a trial lasting more than a month, found her not guilty on all charges related to Caylee's death, including aggravated child abuse and aggravated manslaughter. She was convicted of four counts of lying to investigators and could receive up to a year in jail for each count when Judge Belvin Perry sentences her Thursday.
She likely will get credit for spending much of the past three years in jail waiting for trial, so it's possible she could be released as soon as later this week.
After the verdict was read, Anthony hugged her attorney Jose Baez and later mouthed the words "thank you" to him.
Prosecutors sat solemnly in their seats, looking stunned. Prosecutor Jeff Ashton shook his head slightly from side to side in apparent disbelief. Across the room, Anthony's father wiped tears from his eyes. Without speaking to Casey, he and his wife left the courtroom escorted by police as the judge thanked the jury.
"We felt very strongly about our case. We always felt that (the prosecution's) case was built on nothing," defense attorney Jose Baez told Fox News' Geraldo Rivera. "The jury saw through all of the fantasy and forensics and saw through a lot of the lies presented before them."
"While we're happy for Casey, there are no winners in this case," Baez told reporters shortly after the verdict was read. "Caylee has passed on far, far too soon. And what my driving force has been for the last three years has been always to make sure that there has been justice for Caylee and Casey, because Casey did not murder Caylee. It's that simple."

Self-defence or murder? Outrage as pharmacist Jerome Ersland who shot 16-year-old trying to rob his shop gets life sentence

If you enter a store with a gun to commit a crime of armed robbery, whatever happens to you after you cross that line is well deserved.
That pharmacist is a hero and that 16 year old deserved to doe!
Daily Mail
A controversial decision to send a pharmacist to jail for life for shooting dead a young man who tried to rob his store has caused a storm of protest.
Jerome Ersland was given a life sentence for the first-degree murder of 16-year-old Antwun Parker at an Oklahoma court last week.
The 59-year-old pharmacist shot the youngster six times during an attempted armed robbery in 2009, leading jurors to decide he had acted beyond the limits of self defence.
Dramatic CCTV footage from May 19 2009 shows Antwun Parker and an accomplice running into the Reliable Discount Pharmacy in south Oklahoma City and pointing a gun directly at Mr Ersland.
The pharmacist, who was once an Air Force lieutenant colonel, can then be seen reaching for a pistol of his own before firing at the two young men, with one of the shots hitting Parker to the ground.
After chasing the accomplice from the store, Ersland then gets a second gun before shooting Parker another five times, almost a minute after he fired the first gunshot.
In court, Mr Ersland's attorneys insisted their client had acted in self-defence.

California Woodland Hills attorney David A. Cohn gets nine years in Internet sex sting
When are we gonna get serious about these types of sex crimes? 9 years is a joke of a sentence for a guy preying on prepubescent girls.
How about 30 years?
L.A. Daily News reports a Woodland Hills attorney convicted of a dozen counts, including attempted lewd acts on a child, that stemmed an Internet sex-crime sting was sentenced Friday to more than nine years in prison.
Los Angeles Superior Court Judge Curtis B. Rappe denied the defense's request for probation for David A. Cohn and ordered him to register as a sex offender for the rest of his life.
The judge said Cohn focused on "prepubescent" girls who were from broken homes or had learning disabilities, and that he viewed the defendant as an "extreme danger to society."
Cohn was convicted last Nov. 24 of five counts of attempted showing or sending of harmful material to a minor, four counts of attempted lewd acts upon a child and one count each of attempting to contact a minor with the intent to commit a lewd act, possession or control of matter depicting a minor engaging in sexual conduct and arranging a meeting with a person believed to be a minor for a lewd purpose.
The case was filed after Cohn communicated in the summer of 2007 with an undercover FBI agent posing as a 13-year-old girl, according to Deputy District Attorney Susan Schwartz.
Cohn was arrested on July 22, 2008, by the FBI at his Woodland Hills home, but was released from jail soon afterward. He had been free on his own recognizance until the jury returned its verdict.
One of Cohn's attorneys, Patrick Clancy, told the judge his client "has denied that he ever met with any child," and that the prosecution offered a 90-day jail term early on in the case, which his client turned down in an effort to save his law license.
Cohn also turned down another offer to plead to a misdemeanor count during the trial, according to the prosecutor.

Cohn also turned down another offer to plead to a misdemeanor count during the trial, according to the prosecutor.

West Palm Beach Florida police investigate three shooting deaths, two of them at same apartment complex

Crimes in the ‘hood continues despite the U.S. getting Osama bin Laden. As the White House continues to chest thump, what good is it for the real people dying in the streets of America?
Miami Herald reports Police are investigating a pair of shooting deaths that occurred at the same apartment complex within 12 hours of each other Saturday.
Around 4:30 a.m., a 25-year-old man was found, shot in the face, at 1017 Palm Beach Lakes Blvd. Police identified him as Edward Burkes, who was taken to Good Samaritan Hospital, where he died. Police are treating Burkes' death as a homicide.
At approximately 3 p.m., another man was shot and killed at the same two-story building - an empty lot away from Hook Fish & Chicken, which sits at the corner of Palm Beach Lakes Boulevard and Tamarind Avenue.
The body of the victim was shielded behind barricades in the apartment parking lot while police collected evidence. Some nearby streets were closed, and several dozen onlookers watched from beyond the crime-scene tape.
The situation grew emotional with the arrival of family members of the victim, whom police have not yet publicly identified.
“All the homies dying,” said one bystander.
Police also are investigating a third death, which occurred at 5 a.m. in the 1600 block of 43rd Street. As of Saturday evening, police had not identified the male victim or disclosed the cause of death.
Anyone with information concerning Burke's murder is urged to contact police at (866) 312-7193 or Palm Beach County Crime Stoppers at (800) 458 –TIPS (8477).

NY gov David Patterson commutes sentence of wrongly convicted John White in racially charged case
Gov David Patterson did a tremendous thing by commuting the sentence of John White, an African Americad dad, who was defending his home and his family aginast a White mob of teenages out to get his son. White shoud have neve been convicted in the shooting of white teen who had no business terroringm the White’s home in the dead of night. See prior post hereABC Local News reports that New York Governor David Paterson on Thursday commuted the sentence of a Long Island man convicted in a racially-charged shooting.
John White was found guilty of manslaughter in the 2006 shooting of 17-year-old Daniel Cicciaro, who was killed outside White's home in Miller Place.
He claimed Cicciaro threatened to attack his son.
A judge sentenced White to two to four years in prison, a fraction of the maximum. He finally went to prison in July this year after his appeals were rejected.
Paterson did not issue a pardon, but commuted White's sentence to time served.
"Our society strives to
be just, but the pursuit of justice is a difficult and arduous endeavor," Paterson said. "While the incident and Mr. White's trial engendered much controversy and comment, and varying assessments of justice were perceived, its most common feature was heartbreak. My decision today may be an affront to some and a joy to others, but my objective is only to seek to ameliorate the profound suffering that occurred as a result of this tragic event."
The commutation is conditioned upon White not engaging in subsequent violation of law.
The case began in 2006, when White's son Aaron woke him to say that Cicciaro and a gang of friends were heading to their home for a fight.
John White admitted to taking a gun and shooting Cicciaro in the face, but he said he did it out of fear it was a lynch mob attack.

Crazed Brazilian Groom (Rogerio Damascena) Shoots Self, Best Man, New Wife at Wedding
Although I can’t find any reports on it, something had to have happened between the groom, the best man and the wife. You just don’t kill your wife and the best man as well as yourself without a powerful reason.
Lovers triangle maybe?
CBS News reports that a bridegroom fatally shot his new wife, his best man and then himself after announcing to horrified guests that he had a "surprise" for them, authorities said Monday.
Witnesses reported that 29-year-old Rogerio Damascena, a sales manager in Camaragibe, outside the northeastern Brazilian city of Recife, did not give any previous indication that anything was wrong at his wedding reception, police investigator Joao Brito said. Brito would not speculate on a possible motive, saying family members were in shock and he had not interviewed them yet.
Brito did say the killings are believed to be premeditated because of the groom's announcement and because he had hidden a gun in his father's pickup truck. Twenty-five-year-old bride Renata Alexandre Costa Coelho and best man Marcelo Guimaraes were both killed in Saturday's murder-suicide. A brother of the bride was treated at a hospital and released.
