Actress Mila Kunis granted an interview (and cover photo) to Stylist magazine and proclaimed “I love Barack Obama” and that young Republicans are “ill-informed” in Middle America and can’t tell you why they oppose Obama. She lectured others to get educated and explain how you voted, and “don’t tell me it’s because of religion either because that whole thing is knocked completely out the window.”

In the same interview, when they asked if she would write a movie script, Kunis explained “I can barely write an e-mail. I can’t form a sentence to save my life.”

KUNIS: I love Barack Obama. I voted for him and I will forever be proud of my vote, so I can’t say anything bad against him – other than I think America is in a very temperamental state, and the decision that was made and the compromises made mean, in my opinion, that people are going to pay for a very long time. There is no revenue that’s going to come from these compromises. None. We are no longer going to be the leading power, at all; if China takes their money away for the States we are done. Done. I know that he [Obama] tried. I know because you keep reading these reports of him trying to compromise with the Tea Party and the Republican Party and trying to come up with a 50-50 agreement. I don’t think it was one. I feel the Democratic Party compromised everything and the Republican Party compromised pretty much nothing.

STYLIST: It’s pretty terrifying how much power the Tea Party seems to have in the US – we’re watching Sarah Palin with open mouths.

KUNIS: Honestly, I love politics. I do. And maybe they know something that I don’t know, and that’s the only thing I can hope for. But unless you show me some revenue that’s going to be made, we’re about to become a third-world country. OK I’m being dramatic, but we sure as hell are losing a lot of power. And when you lose financial power and the dollar drops, the power is gone.

So to put two and two together, Kunis is proud of her vote for Obama, and under Obama, the country is in dramatic decline. And yet Kunis thinks the rest of the country isn't connecting dots:
STYLIST: Does it frustrate you how many people are politically unaware, particularly in our age group?

KUNIS: Yes, because you are given such an amazing opportunity with so much information. Why is no one taking advantage of it? You don't have to watch Fox News or CNN or MSNBC; you don't have to be part of a political party, you could just read. Why is nobody reading? I feel like, in our generation, people don't read.

STYLIST: It’s true...

KUNIS: They don't read books, they don't read the paper, they don't read the news. So obviously you are incredibly ill-informed to the point where they will go do these tests in Middle America, And they'll ask, 'OK, what party are you?' And they'll say, 'Republican'. 'Why?' And they can't even tell you. They have no idea what the Republican Party stands for. Why did I vote for Obama? I can tell you why I voted for him, what I agreed and disagreed with him on, for hours. It's crazy to me that people don't educate themselves about the world considering so many of them have children who are going to suffer because of it. Whoever you vote for, don't do it just because. And don't tell me it's because of religion either because that whole thing is knocked completely out the window. So you better just educate yourself.

Kunis also says she's very proud of providing the voice of Meg on "Family Guy" and loves it when people yell "Shut up, Meg!" on the street. Perhaps "Meg" should keep quiet until she does more reading on what Obama's doing to the economy.

Teams playing in the Lingerie Basketball League have to strip to their bras and panties for the games, which are proving popular with male fans. Four teams – the Beauties, Divas, Glam and Starlets – compete each week in the games being played in LA.



But the revealing matches have been criticised for setting back women's sports. Sports publicist Angie Meyer defended the lingerie league and said it is a serious contest.



“On paper, it looks and sounds derogatory towards women,” she told Fox News. “However, when you sit down and watch the intense athleticism of these women, you learn the league is much more than a pretty powder-puff team.”



Tickets for the Friday night games, which are only open to over 18 year olds, cost between $20 and $40.



The scantily-dressed women are being used to bring a new crowd to the sport. “It does seem as though the popularity of a particular women's sport is often unfortunately tied to how attractive its stars are,' said Larry Tobin, former Vice President of Fox Sports Interactive. “Mostly though, women's sports suffer from the same problems that most of the non-big four men's sports do,' he told Fox News.

The 26-foot tall statue towering above tourists in the middle of Chicago could only be one person - Marilyn Monroe. But that hasn't stopped workers, desperate to keep her identity a secret until tomorrow, placing a rather unsightly cloth bag over the poor girl's head, albeit it one in red, white and blue.

The statue, by artist Seward Johnson, replicates the actress's famous subway scene in 1955 film The Seven Year Itch and will be unveiled on Chicago's Pioneer Court tomorrow.

In the scene Monroe stands over a subway grate as a breeze from a train passing below blows her skirt over her panties. It was shot in New York but as the Windy City, Chicago seems like the second best location for such an art work.

A notorious television show which encourages drunk women to strip and simulate sex acts should be banned from filming in Britain, MPs said yesterday.
Disgusted politicians described Girls Gone Wild as ‘demeaning, exploitative and casualised prostitution’ and urged the Home Office to stop its makers entering the country.

The show’s creators plan to launch in the UK in the next few weeks after conducting an online poll to find the ‘best venues’ to visit in its infamous tour bus.

The programme, which has been broadcast in the U.S. since 1997, features camera crews approaching intoxicated young women in bars and nightclubs and urging them to expose themselves in return for t–shirts and other merchandise.

Frequently they are also filmed kissing each other and simulating lewd sex acts in front of crowds of young men.

It is expected to be broadcast on a pay–per–view adult channel in the UK that will be available on many digital television packages.

Emily Longley told pals on Facebook that a mystery man had bombarded her with calls, adding: "I'm really scared."

Last night a 19-year-old man was helping detectives with inquiries but was not under arrest.

Emily, from Auckland, New Zealand, was staying in Bournemouth, Dorset, while studying in the UK.

Last Wednesday, she wrote on the website: "Someone just called me. They were like, 'You don't know me but I know everything about you.'

"He kept asking me out. I hung up and they won't stop calling."

Emily was found dead on Saturday morning.

Yesterday, police stood guard at the £300,000 family bungalow where her body was discovered.

The stunning blonde, who studied at Brockenhurst College and had worked in Top Shop, recently flew back to the UK after Easter with her parents Caroline and Mark.

Scores of tributes were posted on Facebook. Her sister Hanny wrote: "RIP beautiful big sis xx."

A Dorset police spokesman said: "Police are investigating the unexplained death of a 17-year-old girl.

"A 19-year-old from Bournemouth is helping with inquiries.

"Next of kin and the coroner have been informed."

UPDATE: 2 Men arrested in connection to Emily Longley’s death

BBC reports Two men arrested in connection with the death of a 17-year-old girl at a bungalow in Bournemouth have been released on bail.

The girl, named locally as Emily Longley, was found dead at the home in Queenswood Avenue on Saturday morning.

Police are treating the death as "unexplained". A 19-year-old man and 17-year-old boy were arrested by police and later released on bail.

Dozens of tributes have been posted on the social networking site Facebook.

Miss Longley, who was originally from New Zealand, had been studying at Brockenhurst College.

'Million dollar smile'

In one message on Facebook her father Mark Longley said: "She was a real force for life.

"We all loved you honey. So much.

"It is so nice to see she was so loved. Thank you everyone for your kind words."

He said he was due to fly to England and is planning to hold a memorial in England and New Zealand.

Chelsea Sutherland added: "To me you will always be looking over us all with your million dollar smile."

Officers have appealed for anyone who saw suspicious or unusual activity in the area on Friday night or Saturday morning to contact police urgently.

TVNZ reports Police investigating the mysterious death of a New Zealand teenager in southern England are hoping results from toxicology tests will provide crucial answers.

Mystery surrounds the death of 17-year-old Emily Longley, who is thought to have died in her sleep over the weekend in the southern town of Bournemouth.
British police will not confirm the cause of death until toxicology reports are back. An inquest has begun.

A 17-year-old and 19-year-old have been arrested, but released on bail as police continue their investigation.

Longley's "unexplained" death comes two days after the she told friends she had received frightening calls from a stalker.

ONE News today discovered the house where Longley's body was found is listed to the name Turner. Her friends told ONE News 19-year-old Elliot Turner was her boyfriend but she was not sure she still wanted to be in the relationship.

Friends said Longley moved to the United Kingdom to put her life right and was thinking of attending an English university.

She had got a job in retail and was doing well in her studies at Brockenhurst College.

"To leave her family and friends behind in New Zealand and relocate to a brand new country - I think that takes a lot of strength," said Longley's rowing coach Charlotte Robertson.

Longley's Facebook page has been flooded with tributes since the news of her passing reached New Zealand

Longley moved to England two years ago to live with her grandparents. Her closest friends say she was "really loving life over there".
She grew up on the North Shore, attending Westlake Girls High School and Takapuna Grammar School.

Longley's mother has arrived in Britain to bring her daughter's body home.
Close friend Melissa Lee told TV ONE's Close Up last night that Langley, whose nickname was Barbie, was "famous on the Shore", her friend said.

The use of body doubles have been an industry standard for years. You’d be surprised a the amount of BDs that have been used for top stars for years.

Daily Mail reports that her dance double for Black Swan has claimed that she did hardly any of the full body shots seen in the film. And now it is claimed that Natalie Portman used yet another body double for her latest film Your Highness. In fact, the actress is said to have avoided diving into an icy lake in Belfast and a local Irish girl was paid just £250 to take the plunge instead.

Caroline Davis from Ulster was paid the sum of money to jump into the cold waters meaning that Portman avoided braving the freezing lake. The Irish student told The Sun: ‘I’m a film studies student so I jumped at the chance to be on set.’

Portman has been accused of performing very little of the body shots seen in Black Swan, the film that earned her an Oscar gong. Sarah Lane, a soloist with the American Ballet Theatre who worked as Natalie's dance double on the Oscar-winning film, continues to claim the 29-year-old actress did hardly any of the full body shots seen in the movie. Talking to ABC's Elizabeth Vargas, Lane says that the film's producers are lying about the amount of dancing Portman did in her scenes and need to come clean.

The Blaze reports that the beautiful Pakistani actress, Veena Malik, has been accused by a Muslim cleric of being immoral for appearing on an Indian reality show called “Big Boss,“ which is like our version of ”Big Brother.” In an appearance with Express News TV, she was confronted by cleric Mufti Abdul Qavi who said that she “disgraced Pakistan, as well as Islam” for appearing on the show (though he admitted to not having watched a single episode of “Big Boss”).

The cleric also said of Malik:
If she does not have pangs of conscience because of what she did, then I would tell her to awaken her conscience. No one in Pakistan can look at her pictures in the presence of their daughters. I don‘t think that her son will like to look at his mother’s picture in the future, in her presence or in the presence of his father or brother.

Malik‘s measured and courageous response turned the cleric’s admonitions to dust. Among many other things, Malik told him, basically, to buzz off: “There are many other things for you to deal with. There are Islamic clerics who rape the children they teach in their mosques, and so much more.”
