Rosie Huntingon-Whiteley keeps posing for Victoria’s Secret lingerie Transformers 3

The Sun reports the lovely ROSIE HUNTINGTON-WHITELEY isn't giving up the day job despite landing her Transformers 3 movie gig.

The British model is still posing in her undercrackers for Victoria's Secret.

It's a wise move considering the flick – which opens this summer – has yet to be reviewed.

If it bombs and wrecks her modelling career, she'll always be welcome down Easter Road to model the new Hibs kit.

Buxom Bombshell Jane Russell Dies at 89

CNN reports the 1940s and '50s movie bombshell, whose name was synonymous with voluptuousness, died Monday morning at her home in Santa Maria, California, her family said. Jane Russell was 89.

Daughter-in-law Etta Waterfield said that Russell was a "pillar of health" but caught a bad cold and died of respiratory difficulties.

Russell's children, Thomas K. Waterfield, Tracy Foundas and Robert "Buck" Waterfield," were at her side, Etta Waterfield said.

Eccentric philanthropist and movie producer Howard Hughes was the first to put Jane Russell on the silver screen, signing her to a seven-year contract in 1940 and promptly putting her in his production of "The Outlaw," a film about a torrid romance between Billy the Kid and woman named Rio (Russell).

The film got only limited release -- in 1943 -- because censors at the time were skittish about the attention given Russell's figure. Hughes wasn't satisfied. He pulled the film from release and kept it out of circulation for six more years while he did more reshoots and re-editing.
And, Hughes kept Russell off the screen -- her only other appearance during those seven years was in "The Young Widow" (1946), shot while she was on loan to United Artists.

Hughes' extensive publicity campaign for "The Outlaw," however -- she has said that he had her making appearances five days a week for five years -- made Russell popular during World War II as a pin-up, and when the movie was finally released in 1946, she was a star.

While Hughes fetishized Russell's body in other films after her initial contract ended and the two negotiated another, the actress quietly made a name for herself as a talented actress capable of high drama or light comedy. She appeared as Calamity Jane with Bob Hope in "The Paleface" (1948) -- another loan-out -- and a sequel, "Son of Paleface," in 1952 -- earning an Oscar nomination for the song "Am I in Love?"

Robert Mitchum was her co-star twice -- in 1951's "His Kind of Woman" and 1952's "Macao." She shared the screen with Frank Sinatra and Groucho Marx in 1951's "Double Dynamite," and with Victor Mature, Vincent Price and Hoagy Carmichael in "The Las Vegas Story" (1952).

But it was 1953's "Gentlemen Prefer Blondes" with Marilyn Monroe that shot Russell into the stratosphere. She was hailed for her singing and comedic acting, and just two years later made her last film for Hughes.

Russell had some success as a singer in the 1940s, appearing with the Kay Kayser Orchestra, and in 1954 she and Beryl Davis, Connie Haines and Della Russell (later replaced by Rhonda Fleming) began recording religious-themed music and touring as The Four Girls.

Christian couple in the UK barred from being foster parents because of their views on Homosexuality

It’s a sad thing in this post-modern world where cultural relativism is the rule, Christians are made to feel like they’re the outcasts.

The Daily Mail reports that a Christian couple morally opposed to homosexuality today lost a High Court battle over the right to become foster carers.

Eunice and Owen Johns, aged 62 and 65, from Oakwood, Derby, went to court after a social worker expressed concerns when they said they could not tell a child a 'homosexual lifestyle' was acceptable.

The Pentecostal Christian couple had applied to Derby City Council to be respite carers but withdrew their application believing it was 'doomed to failure' because of the social worker's attitude to their religious beliefs.

The couple deny that they are homophobic and said they would love any child they were given. However, what they were 'not willing to do was to tell a small child that the practice of homosexuality was a good thing'.

Today they asked judges to rule that their faith should not be a bar to them becoming carers, and the law should protect their Christian values.
But Lord Justice Munby and Mr Justice Beatson ruled that laws protecting people from discrimination because of their sexual orientation 'should take precedence' over the right not to be discriminated against on religious grounds.

The landmark case heard that the couple, who are now considering an appeal, argued their rights are being 'trumped' by those of homosexuals under equality legislation.

Outside the Royal Courts of Justice in London Mrs Johns stood alongside her husband as she said: 'We are extremely distressed at what the judges have ruled today.

'All we wanted was to offer a loving home to a child in need. We have a good track record as foster parents.

'But because we are Christians, with mainstream Christian views on sexual ethics, we are apparently unsuitable as foster parents.

'We are unsure how we can continue the application process following the court's ruling today.
'We have been excluded because we have moral opinions based on our faith and we feel sidelined because we are Christians with normal, mainstream, Christian views on sexual ethics.

'The judges have suggested that our views might harm children.

'We have been told by the Equality and Human Rights Commission that our moral views may "infect" a child

'We do not believe that this is so. We are prepared to love and accept any child. All we were not willing to do was to tell a small child that the practice of homosexuality was a good thing.

Tolerance, tolerance, tolerance, is the refrain Liberals love to throw around. However, as often is the case, it rings hollow because what they’re really saying, “…agree with us or else!” There’s nothing tolerant about that whatsoever.

What we do here on earth is one thing. And it might be in vogue to act as if homosexuality is moral life style. But, for those of us who believe in a higher authority, we beg to differ and stand on that truth.

Ted Kennedy 'rented out a Chilean brothel for the entire night, FBI files says

Once again true journalism occurs overseas.

Ted Kennedy, one of the worst drunkards in the history of the U.S. who literally got away with murder at Chappaquiddick and benefited from the same state run media that continues to white wash the incompetent that sits in the White House, has another peccadillo that has come to light.

The Daily Mail reports that the late U.S. senator Ted Kennedy has been accused of renting an entire Chilean brothel and seeking meetings with communists who had left-wing views.

The information came to light after a Freedom of Information request by Judicial Watch - the public interest group that investigates and prosecutes government corruption - who put pressure on the FBI to release the material.

Their file on the late senator, who died from brain cancer in August 2009, was released but contained a large amount of blacked out information - until now.

The statements previously withheld include accusations that during a tour of several Latin American countries he 'made arrangements to "rent" a brothel for an entire night, allegedly inviting one of the Embassy's chauffeurs to participate in the night's activities'.

In each country he visited he was also said to have 'insisted on interviewing "the angry young men" of the country as well as Communists who had extreme left-wing views'.

When he was in Mexico, it is said that his request to have certain left-wingers - one of whom was later linked with a Soviet spy ring - was refused as he was warned not to associate himself with such people.

Creating a Vector Image Pacman

Using a tutorial from http://howto.nicubunu.ro/inkscape_pacman_baddies/, I was able to create a vector image of a "Pacman"

I followed all the step by step instructions, including the shadowing and texture changes. The tools that I use are listed in order below:

  1. Elipse Tool
  2. Node Editor
  3. Insert New Node
  4. Duplicate
  5. Gradient
  6. Fill and Stroke
  7. Blur
  8. Shadow
I didn't really have much trouble creating this vector image Pacman. I had no problems whatsoever in the development of this vector image. I learnt a lot of things in terms of Inkscape in this lesson. I was taught how to use various tools that I had never actually "played with" before. This lesson was a great experience where I was exposed to different tools and their uses. I never knew that you could create such a thing with just under 10 tools!

This was my final product:

I was rooting for True Grit for Best Picture, screw the fa fa fa freaking The King’s Speech

Is it too much for the Oscar to go to a movie about Americans? I’m getting sick and tired of hearing about a film about a stammering monarch. What the hell are the Golden Globes for that is run by the foreign press?

Give Best Picture to True Grit, damn it!

State-run media greatly exaggerating turnout for 50-state Union Protest, falls way short of expectations

Don’t fall for the glowing reports of a massive turnout of union protestors all over the country by the main stream Obama boot licking media. Unions workers represent less than 6% of the population. They are hugely outnumbered by the majority of the taxpaying public that pays their salaries.

It’s not even close!

But, the media will paint a far different picture because it’s their president they’re propping up.

The president, unions, and the media is the new Axis of Evil as far as the American peoples pocketbook is concerned.

Legal-insurrection reports that protests in support of Wisconsin public sector unions were organized by MoveOn.org and labor unions today.Promoters, such as David Dayen at Firedoglake, were predicting a million-person turnout nationwide.
But reports as of 7:00 E.S.T. today make clear that other than in Madison, Wisconsin, the crowds were sparse. The turnout in Madison was sizable, with estimates ranging over from 50-70,000, which included protesters bused in from other states. (Dayen is trying to pump the crowd estimate to over 100,000.)
But elsewhere, the crowds numbered only in the hundreds or low thousands. In Washington, D.C., only about 500 people showed up (go to link for good photos of crazy signs). (Note, WaPo says 1000.)In Columbus, OH, where you would expect a big crowd given a similar controversy, only "several thousand" people protested. Other head counts, based on news reports, include: Boston (1000), Portsmouth, N.H. (few hundred), Augusta, ME (small crowd), New York City ("several thousand"), Chicago (1000), Miami (100), Austin (several hundred), Chicago (1000); Lansing, MI (2000), Nashville (hundreds), Los Angeles (2000), Richmond, VA (300), Denver (1000); Frankfurt, KY (several hundred), Jefferson City, MO (several hundred), Harrisburg, PA (several hundred). While I don't have a complete count, based on these numbers from some major cities and labor states, total protesters nationwide (excluding Madison) likely totaled under 100,000 combined.

The 50-state protest was a failure, plain and simple, although the images from Madison may create the false impression of massive nationwide protests.

AFL-CIO chief and bed partner Richard Trumka blesses Obama's handling of Wisconsin labor battle

Wow, is this really news considering Trumka and Obama practically share the same underwear? Here’s Trunk admitting he visits the White House two to three times a week, more than Obama’s own cabinet secretaries.

Truaka is part of Obama’s shadow cabinet. That’s what happens when the AFL-CIO raises millions for Obama’s run for president and Obama returns the favor by giving the union millions of dollars back in Stimulus money. The president is a shill for the unions and the rest of the taxpaying public pays for this mutual masturbation sessions.

It’s time to smell the coffee, folks!

That’s unless of course if the union doesn’t go on strike delivering it to your local store or diner.

The Hill reports that AFL-CIO President Richard Trumka gave his blessing Sunday to President Obama's handling of the labor standoff in Wisconsin. Amid some criticism on the left that Obama could do more to boost unions in their demonstrations against Wisconsin Gov. Scott Walker, and his proposal to eliminate most collective bargaining rights for public workers, Trumka said the president was doing just fine. "I think he's doing it the right way," Trumka said on NBC's "Meet the Press." A growing number of Democrats have pressed Obama to take more of a leading role in the labor dispute. Rep. Keith Ellison (D-Minn.), a co-chairman of the Congressional Progressive Caucus, last week called for Obama to head to Wisconsin.

Here’s Trunka parroting Obama propaganda of class warfare and more big government spending. When he mentions fighting for working families, translation, let’s really screw the taxpayers dry to pay for our bloated benefit packages that private industry employees wish they had.

Suckers!

Obama to Trunka: “Move over Dick, I like sleeping on the left side of the bed.”

And the Oscar goes to…nobody! Hollywood suffering crisis lack of quality films

I consider myself a film buff and I have to say that the quality of movies coming out of Hollywood since 2005 have been a joke. It’s been a never ending succession of films about comic book heroes and sequel after sequel.

What ever happened to films based on great novels or just an original screenplay for a change?

Just last week I looked up 8 flicks at my local multiplex and couldn’t find near one movie I had the least bit interest in seeing. That’s how bad the garbage is that Hollywood id putting out.

I remember come Oscar time, most of the 5 movies nominated were really great films. Today, you’ll lucky to find one in a field of ten.

It’s a sad commentary on an industry that has sunken to its lowest depths.

Be ashamed, Hollywood, be very ashamed!

New Rockford, Illinois tourism Video ad: Come hide away like you’re a state senator

This ad is pretty funny!

Only Liberals can make the act of running away from responsibility, a heroic thing to do. What do you expect from people like this? They’re the party that represents, for the most part, people that don’t accept responsibility for anything. In more blunt language, they are the party of the fuck ups and degenerates in this country that always have an excuse as to why they never amounted to anything in this country.

Or they’re actually successful, but feel so guilty about their comfortable life, they feel the need to look out for the quote, “little guy” that can’t make it in life without their help.

Hot Air reports that Cheeky link bait aimed at conservative blogs or earnest ad campaign targeting progressives?

It’s the former for the moment, but let’s face it — if the fleebaggers succeed in waiting Scott Walker out and getting the collective bargaining bill killed, they’ll be instantly beatified on the left. Tales of their exploits shall be passed down in hushed tones from one generation of six-figure-income unionized public workers to the next.

Why, without the “Wisconsin 14,” kids will be told, mom and dad would have had to struggle the way the chumps in private employee unions do.

There’s tourism gold waiting to be mined in that kind of hagiography. Imagine visiting Rockford and sitting at the very same table where that
moron accused Republicans of disrupting the democratic process by not letting him vote by phone — after he’d fled Wisconsin.

Bottom line, the Liberal/Progressives have a very warped sense of reality. This is what the Cowardly 14 represents and explains why children ought not grow up to be Liberals.

Insane AFL-CIO Boss and Obama bed partner Richard Trumka Says Raising Taxes Best Way to Create Jobs

Please, when I say bed partner, I’m not accusing the president of being Gay. I’m using metaphoric language to describe a very cozy relationship.

Let’s understand that Richard Trumka has admitted to visiting the White House two or three times a week

As the video shows the Obama administration has met more with the head of one of the most prominent and powerful unions in the country MORE than he meets with his own cabinet.

This is unbelievable!

But, it tells you more about where Obama’s loyalties truly lies more with the unions who gave him more than 60 million dollars for his presidential rum.

Now these same unions want payback for their investment.

Obama is not a president; he’s a union hack pure and simple. Don’t believe the lies state-run media is saying.

Theodore’s World reports what's the best way to get Americans back to work?

Raise taxes, according to AFL-CIO President Richard Trumka. Specifically, he wants to raise the federal gas tax as a means to fund infrastructure spending. "We need a dedicated source of revenue to create infrastructure in this country," he tells Aaron Task in the accompanying clip.

"We need to create jobs. The best way to do that is through infrastructure development." Simply maintaining the existing infrastructure in this country will cost $2.2 trillion over five years, according to the American Society of Civil Engineers. That doesn't include Obama's objective of high-speed rails and green energy projects.

Trumka didn't say specifically how much he would raise the gas tax, but mentioned he's shown the President a $256 billion plan to improve infrastructure. If every billion spent on infrastructure creates 35,000 jobs, as he claims, this package would create close to 9 million jobs over the next five years.

More details here

Trumka is lying through his teeth!

First of all the Stimulus package that spent 800 billion dollars was supposed to to the “shovel ready” projects Obama was talking about,

There was no shovel ready anything.

All that money went to the states to keep public sector unions, Obama’s base, employed. So why should we believe anything Trunka has to say now?

There guys really think the American people are as stupid as the average Obama supporter.

Video: Joan Rivers calls Rihanna, “a bitch!” on Fashion Police

I’ve said before, and I’ll say it again. Rihanna has issues!

She looks ridiculous.

Maybe Chris Brown had a reason to beat her ass after all?

Joan Rivers may agree.

Out-of-control Big Brother Govt Ga. Girl Scouts fear arrest for selling cookies in strip mall

Welcome to Bamazula where eventually you’ll need a permit to pee in your own bathroom for fear of using too much water from flushing.

Sounds impossible?

Liberals think they know what’s best for everyone else, but they never seem to live by the rules they set.

CBS News reports that Girl Scouts all over the US have started selling cookies door-to-door, outside of grocery stores and on street corners - little did they know they could possibly be cited for peddling.

According to a troop leader, a group of Georgia Girl Scouts thought they were headed to jail when a police officer asked them for their peddler's permit to sell cookies outside of their local strip mall in Villa Rica, 30 miles outside of Atlanta, on Wednesday.

When they weren't able to show a permit, the officer told them to pack it up. Troop leader Kathy Crook told local station
WXIA-TV in Atlanta that she was stunned.

Drunk Man’s Wild Interview With PA TV Station About Local Fire: ‘I’m Gonna Get Racial Here’

Losing your home in a fire is a devastating thing to go through. I feel this man’s pain, although I can’t really report what actually happened.

Make your own judgment.

From The Blaze

“I heard a kerosene explosion…BOOM!…freakin’ I heard it! Freakin’….I heard the freakin’ explosion.”

So said an incredibly intoxicated man, speaking to a local Pennsylvania news station,
WNEP-TV, during daylight hours about an explosion that set his house on fire. It’s not clear what the back story here is–or when this all happened–but if the drunkard is to be believed, a kerosene blast of sorts caused the house to sahhh-moke fff-flying through the wall and I said ‘look at, the house is on fire.’…fff-freaking. I knew burst into flames.

I think the man had some racial thoughts in his mind, but he never said them.

Owner (Patrick Sweeney) of The Merchant restaurant in Madison WIphone # (608) 259-9799 makes up story about kickung out Gov Scott Walker and family

This news is a week in coming out. But, it’s better late than never!

I think the rest of the country should know how they roll in Madison.
These are the people that are sucking the taxpayers blind with their bloated benefit packages they got from previous Democrat governors.

Call The Merchant and make reservations.
The Badger Blogge says: Well my friends, this is the case of a Madison restaurant trying to gain liberal credibility by making up a total lie about how they booted Scott Walker out of their establishment. When BadgerBlogger called them to confirm the story, the staff refused to confirm or deny, and continued to obfuscate until they hung up the phone… But in fact, they didn’t hang up, it appears that they accidentally put the phone on speaker…. And BadgerBlogger tapes continued to roll.

Our audio captures the restaurant staff talking about how they have to take down the blog posting because people are starting to call about it, you can actually hear them logging into the blog and deleting it. Too late.

We confirm with Governor Walker’s staff that the Governor has never been to that restaurant, this was an attempted “punking” by employees of The Merchant Restaurant, but look who got punked… In the words of Joe Wilson, You Lie!

You can listen to our audio, and judge for yourself. Do not turn it off after the hang-up, that’s when it gets good.

MLB loaned cash strapped New York Mets $20 million

Mets fans, like me, don’t care much about Fred Wilpon’s financial problems.

We want to see a winner on the field!

So, if the Mets can’t be run like a big market New York team should, it’s time for the Wilpons to sell the team and ride off into the sunset

The New York Post reports that Major League Baseball loaned the Mets more than $20 million in November in a bid to shore up the cash-strapped team, sources told The Post.

"We did receive a loan from Major League Baseball in November," the Mets said in a statement. "Beyond that, we will not discuss the matter any further."

The team’s principal owner, Fred Wilpon, and his partners are scrambling to line up an investor to purchase as much as 25 percent of the team in the wake of a lawsuit brought by the bankruptcy trustee charged with clawing back billions for victims of Bernie Madoff.

The trustee, Irving Picard, has sued the team for as much as $1 billion, alleging Wilpon and his partners knew — or should have known — about Madoff’s massive Ponzi scheme.

Fred Wilpon and his son Jeff have insisted they will maintain majority ownership of the Mets despite the suit, although a financial adviser to the team recently said they would consider selling a bigger stake.

The November loan from the MLB suggests the team was experiencing a cash crunch before Picard’s suit against them became public

New York Gov Andrew Cuomo punts and makes sweetheart deal with SEIU on Medicaid that still increases spending

Story

So much for the conservative sounding Democrat, Andrew Cuomo.

The New York Post which has become part of Andrew Cuomo’s propaganda arm, has described this deal between SEIU’s 1199 and Andrew Cuomo as quote “dramatic agreement”.

If you believe that, then I’ll be selling the Brooklyn Bridge tomorrow at noon for $1.78. Be there!

The first thing that must be understood is that SEIU donated thousands of dollars to Andrew Cuomo’s campaign for governor of New York.

They expected payback for their investment and as surely as the sun rises in the East, they got it!

As such, Cuomo is obligated to this public sector union like most other Democrats across the nation. New York is on the brink of bankruptcy like the other one party (Democrat) controlled states such as California, New Jersey and Michigan to mama a few.

So the trick for Cuomo is to appear to the public as if he’s actually looking out for their best interests while simultaneously batting his eyes at the unions, “Don’t worry I’ll take care of you in the end.”

Here’s how he does it and the shameless New York Post is helping him shovel the feces in the faces of New Yorkers.

Spending on Medicaid is limited to a whopping 52.8 billion dollars with a “B” this year, “capping”, not cutting, the state’s share at 15.1 billion and allowing no more than 4% growth each year going forward.

4% may not sound like a lot. But, try to find a savings account anywhere in this country paying 4%?

If I knew my salary would increase 4% a year in these very rough fiscal times, I would be doing an Irish jig at my desk everyday at lunch while praising the Lord Jesus.

But, what we really have here is another wink wink sweetheart deal between a Democrat governor and a public sector union that are sleeping in the same bed plus Sandra Lee. But, I digress.

Cuomo is putting slightly less expensive, but expensive nonetheless, lipstick on the same pig and calling it Ms. Universe. He’s doing exactly what other Democrat governors have done in this state for years by kicking the proverbial can down the road.

Slowing down the rate of spending is still spending in the final analysis and only puts off the day of reckoning for another day. The Titanic that is New York is still sinking while Cuomo rearranges the deck chairs and proclaims the hole is plugged.

A governor showing real leadership would have cut the spending by 4% and instituted a real “hard cap” that promises not to go up a single penny year after year.

Prior to election, I argued vociferously that there was no way in the world that Andrew Cuomo, sounding like a conservative for the purposes of getting elected, was going to turn his back on his bed partners in the unions.

This charade of a deal proves my suspicions were on the money.

This is not leadership for the people of New York. Only fools and ill-informed Democrat s who voted for Cuomo would fall for such baloney.

It’s a sham, a bait and switch meant to bamboozle suckers with their hands out like LeRoy down the street. Some may think that Andrew Cuomo is a new kind of fiscally responsible Democrat. He’s nothing of the sort and this deal insults the intelligent of New Yorkers who are really paying attention to the fraud from Mount Kisco. They’re sick and tired of taking it in the shorts at the hands of this illicit relationship between Democrats and unions. Under Cuomo spending will continue to rise and he’ll talk about phony “caps” on spending and try to pass them off as cuts in spending. This is the same kind of verbal alchemy that invented the “jobs saved” statistic.

Can you now understand why it’s in the best interests of the Democrat Party for public schools to continue to fail our kids? They don’t want our children being too educated less they might end up seeing through the lies.
It’s outrageous, and it’s the taxpayers that have to make the sacrifice while the unions nothing.

And shame on the New York Post for willingly being part of the ruse to mislead the public. The only “dramatic” thing about this deal and this story is the level of arrogance and condescension of the cohorts involved in this carnival sidewhow.

I don’t know if I’ll live long enough to see a Scott Walker type governor in New York. That’s the type of courageous leadership this state needs before all of New York becomes like Detroit.

Guess which political party ran that city into the dust?

The finest beaches that you see in Waikiki will definitely attract you with its beauty. You definitely have to do all the arrangements necessary to make the trip that can catch in the camera forever. As The Last Tradition predicted Al Sharpton gets controversial Most dangerous place for African Americans is in the womb billboard taken down

Blacks folks see above photo
Well, that didn’t take long, did it? This is what I wrote less than 48 hours ago:

Jesus Christ himself could present this billboard on the Great Lawn at Central Park, and Black people will accuse him of being a damn liar who works for Fox News. That’s how strong the ‘group think’ is in the Black community.

And Liberals know it and continue to feed upon it. All they have to do is dispatch Jesse Jackson or Al Sharpton to lead them by the nose and tell them how they're supposed to think.

And that’s exactly what happened according to Liberals design to KEEP Africans Americans on the mental plantation beholding to them.

So let the genocide continue!

Stick your nappy heads back in the sand because ya’ll deserve what you get!

The New Yor Post reports that an inflammatory anti-abortion ad equating abortion by black women with genocide will be taken down from a Manhattan billboard, officials said.

The controversial advertisement — posted on a billboard at Sixth Avenue and Watts Street and sponsored by pro-life groups Life Always and thatsabortion.com — features a pensive little girl beneath the startling message: "The most dangerous place for an African American is in the womb."

The Rev. Al Sharpton and Planned Parenthood groups, which had blasted the ad as a racist attack against a woman’s right to choose, applauded the decision to yank the message.

"It sent a clear message that it was against a woman’s right to choose, and [exhibited] classic racial profiling," said Sharpton spokesman Rachel Noerdlinger.

Louisiana-based Lamar Advertising Co. made the decision to pull the advertisement, she said, and "The Rev. Sharpton salutes the company."

Video: Rhode Island union supporter to cameraman – “I’ll f**k you in the ass, you faggot”

There’s nothing like a little union goonery to get the blood flowing.

Keep in mind, this is the core of Obama’s base of support.

From Michelle Malkin

The hits keep on coming. Here’s another fine specimen of Big Labor civility:

At AFSCME’s “solidarity” rally in Providence, Rhode Island on Tuesday, a cameraman was accosted by a fuming pro-union protester. The cameraman had his back to the goon, who appears to accost him unprovoked. The goon screams:

“I’ll f**k you in the ass, you faggot!”

His shouting escalates and other union supporters try to intervene as he threatened the cameraman, but he continues to foam at the mouth.

The “solidarity” mob finally starts chanting “Hey, hey, ho, ho, union-busting’s got to go” to drown out the goon’s snit fit. He yells that he will “follow you out of here.”

The eruption starts at 7:32 in this video.

The cameraman who was accosted in the video is Adam Cole. He works for “We the People of Rhode Island,” a public access TV show in Rhode Island. Another witness and citizen journalist at the rally who had a video camera, Randy Swanson of Oathkeepers-Rhode Island, filmed the confrontation. Swanson tells me that criminal charges against the union supporter are pending — and that Providence Capitol Police, Providence Police Department and Rhode Island State Police are investigating other incidents that also occurred that day involving belligerent union supporters.

Remember: “Every once and awhile you need to get out on the streets and get a little bloody when necessary.” It’s the union way.

By the way: Mainstream media coverage of the Providence union grievance convergence neglected to mention the profanity-spewing pro-union protester’s outburst.
Surprise, surprise.

Suppose Dick Cheney was found out to be the secret force behind Planned Parenthood? Would opinions change?

Hell yes!

All of a sudden Liberals would scream about systematic genocide of African Americans.

Millions people (Liberals taking a break from Wisconsin protests) would march on Washington carrying signs saying “slavery never ended! Our babies are being slaughtered by racists!

Cheney would be depicted as a diabolically smiling Grim Reaper driving a tractor trailer load of Black children to their eventual doom.
CNN’s Anderson Cooper would be camping outside Cheney’s front door wanting to ask him, “How does it feel to get rich off of Black genocide?

Nonetheless, if you only remove Cheney from the scenario and replace him with well meaning Liberals, but everything else concerning the disproportionate rate of abortions in the Black community remains as it is, Liberals only yawn, and Black folks keep their mouth shut like they’re doing now.

Think about it!

2011: A corporation near you

The majority of people do not believe that gender or race is more important than merit when it comes to getting a top job within the lofty heights of a corporate company. The majority of people* believe that merit is the name of the game. Contrary to what is often casually asserted, the people who don't believe purely in merit are not those people who believe in positive discrimination, but rather, the people who are sexist, racist, homo/transphobic, or ableist. Why? The answer is one that seems blindingly obvious: if pure considerations of merit were behind promotions to top positions, demographic distributions across company boards would be roughly representative. But they aren't, and more, they aren't really getting any better. The 'Women on Boards' review, released today by Lord Davies (link below), found some pretty damning statistics on the question of women's participation on boards in FTSE 100 companies, but stopped short of recommending quotas, suggesting rather that companies take active steps to reach mountainous targets such as 25% female representation on boards by 2015.

In fact, his recommendations seem quite good, but as Julia Finch pointed out in Women directors: why I've changed my mind, these are 'recommendations' to the same companies who are also made 'recommendations' to about acting ethically, regulating trade fairly, not causing financial crises, not fucking people over generally, and so on. That kind of speaks for itself.

On the topic of women on boards, there are several oft cited reasons why we have not yet reached gender-balance. Number one, company boards aren't representative because female candidates are invariably less good than male candidates. If women candidates are chosen who are less good than the male candidates they are up against, it is patronising to women, unfair to men, and bad for business overall. Number two, company boards aren't representative because feminism only started forty or fifty years ago, and it will take a while for women growing up during the golden era of the second wave to filter their way through to the top jobs. Number three, women don't get the top jobs because they don't really want them as much as men do. Women would rather leave to raise families, spending time on greater, purer pursuits than the mindless accumulation of empty, soulless, capitalist money and power. Women just don't like being CEO's! Everyone's a winner!

On this first point, on occasions when I have spoken to professional women about, for example, introducing quotas for women in top positions, the overwhelming response has been that it would not only be wrong but that it would create an unpleasant atmosphere within companies if it were known that a female candidate had been promoted to fulfill a quota, rather than on her own merit. Women I have spoken to, quite fairly, want to feel that they have climbed the corporate ladder by themselves, because of their own achievements, rather than because of some political drive to introduce equalities legislation. I understand this feeling. Nobody wants to get a job they don't deserve. Yet implicit in this argument is the premise that a quota for women would inevitably sometimes result in better men being passed over for inferior women.

Well, yes. Where there are quotas for female promotion and inclusion at higher levels, it is at least feasible that sometimes a more qualified man will lose out to a less qualified woman who has to be promoted because of the quota. But right now more qualified women are losing out to less qualified men, to the point where only 12.5% of FTSE-100 directors are women, where 50% of FTSE companies do not have even one woman on their board , and where there has been little improvement on this for years. We either have to argue that this represents only considerations of merit, and that men are just much, much better than women (sometimes known as misogyny), or we have to admit that the playing field isn't level, that it isn't getting better by itself, and that we are not going to have approximate equality unless some action is taken to get women onto boards. I for one find it highly unlikely that a 30-40% quota for women on company boards will very often lead to anti-male discrimination, simply because I do not believe that male candidates are better than female candidates. To my mind, if such a quota were enforced it would more often than not simply result in promotions for the equally-qualified women candidates who currently don't get promoted. Because currently the system is sexist, you know?

This brings us to the second argument, above. It's often argued that as girls now do better than boys at school, and that as half, if not more, of university graduates are now women, it will just be a matter of time until those proportions even out with a roughly equal spread at the top. Arguably, the forty years or so since the second wave are not long enough for women growing up in the 70s to have reached company boards. Touching as the faith in feminism's power of those who argue this is, it would surely only apply if feminism had already been completely successful. Though equal rights legislation is much improved, it is by no means perfect, and sexism is by no means gone. All people, to some extent, have internalised the norms of a society which has certain preconceptions about roles for men and roles for women. One only needs to watch The Apprentice, source of all my knowledge about business, to see that the qualities which seen to be apt for business are most often masculine ones, and only seen as such in male-bodied people. Confidence, drive and intelligence in men are read as aggressiveness, coldness and over-opinionatedness in women. Whilst much can be done socio-culturally in order to combat such ideas, it seems to me to be rather putting the cart before the horse to say that as feminism progresses and attitudes change women will get through to the top ranks. Rather, women need to be there to effect the change, and positive discrimination, to my mind, is the only way that this will genuinely happen.

On to the third point. Often this argument about most women just not wanting to give up their lives to moneymaking is seen on Comment is free, and other such reputable forums for debate. Of course, any essentialism about women's and men's intrinsic natures is pretty objectionable, and it's all rather convenient that women are supposed to happen not to want to succeed in the same way that men want to, when they currently aren't succeeding in that way. This is the point where the old 'children' chestnut gets brought in - if women will insist on taking time off to have babies and look after them and such like, how is it fair that they can be at the same corporate level as a man who hasn't done so? Any logic behind the notion that extending paternity leave to be equal with maternity leave will hurt the economy is mindbogglingly absent, unless it is assumed that men will always have higher positions than women. Though women, for obvious reasons, have to do the actual birth, there is no reason that childcare should not be shared equally, and indeed, the advantages men will gain from legislation for a fuller fatherhood will only be balanced by the concurrent removal of discrimination against women who want to have children. Sweden has it better than us in legislating for a minimum two months paternity leave (Dads in the UK only have two weeks), and its worth pointing out that their economy has not yet collapsed in any greater way than ours has.

There is still a considerable amount of misogynist prejudice in society, both obvious and latent. Right now, what we have is discrimination overwhelmingly against women, and where there are completely fair examples of areas in which men face discrimination, it is clear that when women make up less than negligible% of top corporate jobs, a very serious prejudice still holds fast. When no progress is being made otherwise, positive discrimination needs to be enacted to right the balance. Not to tip it over to the other side, but just to even the currently uneven grounds. More problematic than the notion that a hostile atmosphere will result from this is the implication that there is not currently a hostile atmosphere where massive injustice is being doled out. Bear in mind that even if a 30-40% quota system were introduced, sometimes stronger women would still be passed over for weaker men (because 60-70% would still be on a non-quota basis, in a still sexist society). But if nothing is done to create change, little will ever change.

Incidentally, I google image searched 'women sitting in boardroom' to find a picture for this article, and it came up with, 'Did you mean 'woman sitting in boardroom'. Telling?

*I know this because I have conducted an extensive survey which involved personally speaking to the majority of people.

Caught on Video: CWA union thug strikes young female FreedomWorks activist

This is how Obama's buddies roll! One term president, anyone?
Michelle Malkin reports that this is Tabitha Hale, a young conservative activist/original Tea Party organizer/blogger who works for Washington, D.C.-based FreedomWorks. I know her from her great grass-roots work with Smart Girl Politics when the Tea Party movement was just emerging.

Today, Big Labor groups took their Grievance March to the offices of
FreedomWorks.

Among the groups protesting: the
Communications Workers of America. They’re one of the heavyweight labor biggies that have received a coveted Obamacare Waiver for Favors. CWA facts here.

This is one of the CWA t-shirt-wearing goons who showed up at the protest at FreedomWorks today:

Thankfully, Hale tells me she wasn’t hurt. But there is no doubt from this video that the CWA t-shirt-wearing goon should be prosecuted for assault.
They said it:
“Get a little bloody.” It’s the union way.

Civility police, where are you now?

Update:
Tabitha Hale recounts the attack at RedState and smacks back at the Left’s blame-the-victim rationalization:

Hawaii is known for its beautiful locations and as a place to visit and enjoy one’s holiday. There are beautiful islands, wide beaches and the variety of activities on offer for tourists. There are many islands and the main islands are the Hilo, Maui, Oahu and others. You can have a pleasurable trip to these islands only if you have your won vehicle. Taking your won vehicle is not possible so it is best to rent a vehicle of your choice for the duration of your trip.  There are many companies that provide Car rental Maui or Car rental Oahu.

When you go for Hawaii car hire, you should get a few points clear before booking the car. You have many amenities when you take a car for hire and you can get facilities like child seats, air conditioning, non-smoking vehicle, wheelchair, automatic transmission, folding seats in Jeep Wrangler, etc. You can choose the amenities you want and then book accordingly. It would help you a great deal and make your traveling easier if you have the facilities you want in your car.

As most of the car rental agencies are listed on various websites you can search for the best option available for you and book a car in advance so that you don’t have to travel from pillar to post. It would ease   your mind a great deal that you have vehicle in your hand when you reach there. Mostly the car rental agencies need the person hiring a car to be above 25 years of age. However, it ahs been observed that many times for extra money they would give a car to that person who is above 21 years  of age. You can pay by credit card and these websites make the payment through secure sites. The facility of driving a car and touring at your own wish is too great to be missed, so take advantage and book a car for your next tri to Hawaiian Islands

New York Gov Andrew Cuomo gets called out by Vatican for living in Sin with girlfriend Sandra Lee

Well, I’m glad somebody brought up an issue I wrote about nearly a month ago.

It’s still called fornication which makes Andrew Cuomo and Sandra Lee fornicators in the eyes of the church.
As such, Cuomo ought not participate in Holy Communion, a very serious sacrament, unless his heart is right with God.

There’s no way in the world he can claim that while living with a woman he’s not married to.

He’s making a mockery of the sacrament!

You’d think a governor of a state would set a better example for others. But, then again Prince Cuomo is one of the biggest and most shameless phonies in New York State.

The Daily Mail reports that a Vatican adviser has condemned New York Governor Andrew Cuomo as 'gravely sacrilegious' for receiving Holy Communion - because he is not married to his live-in girlfriend, Food Network star Sandra Lee.

Edward Peters, a consultant for the Vatican's high court, said Mr Cuomo should not take the sacrament of Communion while he is engaged in what he called 'public concubinage' with Ms Lee.

His scathing attack comes after an interview with television cook Ms Lee was released in which she frankly discusses her harrowing childhood and present-day success - and says she is happy not being married for now.

She and Mr Cuomo have been together for five years and share a home with his teenage daughters from his first marriage. In the interview with Vogue, Ms Lee, the host of Semi-Homemade Cooking with Sandra Lee, describes how she reorganised her company to make life easier for her partner.

But Mr Peters, who is also a conservative Catholic blogger, condemned their living arrangements. He particularly criticized the governor for receiving Communion at Albany's Cathedral of the Immaculate Conception on January 1, the day after his inauguration.

The adviser described it as a 'gravely sacrilegious' act and said Bishop Howard Hubbard committed a 'failure in pastoral care' by praising Mr Cuomo at the Mass, which he attended with Ms Lee and his daughters.

Mr Peters told CNSNews the governor should be denied Communion if he tries to take the sacrament again 'as long as he persists in such conduct'. He was referring both to Mr Cuomo's living arrangements and his views on abortion and gay marriage, which he supports.

Mr Cuomo today said: 'My religion is a private matter, and that is not something I discuss in the political arena.'

More details here

Andrew Cuomo can say it’s a private matter all he wants. But, he’s flaunting his beliefs that are in direct conflict with the teachings of his church. He should either marry the woman to get right with God or leave the church entirely.

Rush Limbaugh nails public sector unions as being money laundering operations for the Democrat Party

Rush Limbaugh was brilliant today on his radio when he rightly pointed out an unholy alliance between the Democrat Party and public sector unions.

Taxes are the sole revenue source cities, states and the feds collect to pay public sector union employees. However, with that taxpayer money, unions also double dips and collect union dues from each worker that winds up in the coffers of Democrat candidates running for public office.

When these Democrats get into office, they negotiate very generous benefit packages with the same unions (return the favor for the campaign money) and it’s the taxpayers that funds this quid pro quo system that is detrimental fiscal stability of states that could no longer sustain the spending.

What Democrats fear most is the end of the gravy train money supplied by union dues.

Don’t believe the smokescreen put out by the Left as this being a battle for workers rights or an assault on the unions, or the middle class.

It’s the unions that are already assaulting the middle class through higher and higher taxes to feed the never ending appetite for bigger and bigger government.

It’s the taxpayers that are the true bosses here. And they are saying enough is enough!
