Local ladies of the community gather each holiday season for a cookie exchange. Each person brings about 4-5 dozen cookies to share. Tammy hosted it at her house with plenty of Christmas music and warm tea. Her house is just down the road so I walked with my containers of cookies in hand. My contribution to the exchange included chocolate crinkles and shortbread cookies. It was fun to put together tins for companies and businesses considered friends of the community. We also chose cookies at the end to fill out tins for a treat during the holiday!
