Memorial Day Fun

One of the locals set up a zip line at the River Resort for kids to enjoy on Memorial Day. Steven was sure I would LOVE the photo opportunity...and well..he was right :-) I finished things up in the kiosk for the day, grabbed my camera, and hopped in our super cool blue truck with him. We grabbed some tasty pizza from the bakery and pulled into the resort just in time to see little ones lining up with rope harnesses tied around each waist. The day was great and weather set with a lot of sunshine....seemingly the norm for the end of May in Stehekin this year. Check out some of these smiling faces and bright colors reflected in the water as the kids zipped on down the line.
