Each year in Stehekin, a community gathering and event occurs in May to celebrate the start of summer in conjunction with the blooming of the Trillium flower. It is held at the local school with a potluck followed by an evening program. A music jam session for some the local musicians was held while the kids tossed a ball around in the school yard. The festival included vocal session, piano duets, a xylophone program, and more! I got some great photos of the festivities and thought I would share them here. Hope you enjoy!
