Airport, grand daddy of disaster films. Very fun to watch

This 1970 film directed George Seaton, was the grand daddy of the disaster films that followed in the 70s and 80 such Earthquake and the Towering Inferno.

This movie has an all-star cast that was headlined by Burt Lancaster and Dean Martin. I remembered when they first aired in on ABC on a Sunday night and everybody I knew was watching it because it was a huge hit and a must see to takl about at school or work the next day. What made these flicks special was you were able to see a bevy of stars from years gone and up to the current stars of the time.

It was just a good time at the movies.
