…avoid the psychological pain of admitting they’ve been sold a bill of goods from the Democrat Party for years.
It’s akin to the battered wife syndrome in which a woman would endure beatings for years and still stays with her husband after he apologizes and says he will never do it again. People on the outside looking in can’t fathom how she can ever stand it for so long and thinks she must be a fool. Is this really different from African American Americans supporting the Democrat Party for over 50 years and yet the problems in their neighborhoods of failing schools (which Democrats control) and high unemployment rates remain the same or are getting worse?
“I’m sorry you can’t find a job and your son’s school sucks. But, I got you back. And you know the Tea Party is racists. But, I love you.”
