NY Times communist Joe Nocera calls Solyndra-gate a “phony scandel” Okay start laughing

They’re circling the wagons over at the Old Gray Lady NY Times to protect the backside of one Barack Hussen Obama, who they helped get elected thanks to their Far Left propaganda machine.

The sweat must be cascading down into their morning cups of Joe Biden as the Times dispatched trusty Liberal bomb thrower Joe Nocera, who once referred to Tea Party Republicans as terrorists waging jihad on the American people. Yes, the “civility police” Times are manning the barricades like dutiful ideological solders.

Nocera wrote:

“If Brian Harrison and W. G. Stover, the two Solyndra executives who took the Fifth Amendment at a Congressional hearing on Friday, ever spend a day in jail, I’ll stand on my head in Times Square. It’s not going to happen, for one simple reason: neither they, nor anyone else connected with Solyndra, have done anything remotely criminal. The company’s recent bankruptcy — which the Republicans are now rabidly “investigating” because Solyndra had the misfortune to receive a $535 million federally guaranteed loan from the Obama administration — was largely brought on by a stunning collapse in the price of solar panels over the past year or so.”

Only the Times can refer to receiving a half billion dollar loan as “misfortune”. The real misfortune is the trillions of dollars not spent on so-called “shovel ready” jobs around the country in favor of public sector unions. Nocera failed to mention how Solyndra top executive are huge contributors to Obama’s presidential run. Nor that it should be a concern that the Obama White House pushed the Dept of Energy to approve the loan to Solyndra without performing their due diligence on whether Solyndra was a viable concern.

Nocera also wrote:

"The company’s innovative solar panels, high-priced to begin with, became increasingly uncompetitive in the marketplace. Solyndra didn’t have enough big commercial customers to create the necessary economies of scale." More here

I don’t think Nocera realizes he’s just explained an argument for at least negligence on behalf of the Obama regime and most likely criminal conduct by wrongfully approving a loan to a business that had no shot of being profitable. This looks an awful lot like money grab of taxpayers’ funds in order to redistribute it to political friends. Isn’t this what Obama meant by sharing the wealth?
